	2KR7501 Harley KRTT Lowboy fairing - short circuit This bulbous fairing was originally designed in the Cal Tech wind tunnel and then used by Cal Rayborn and the Wrecking Crew. They wrought havoc on the AMA Road Racing Circuit with their voluptuous Harley. The fairing itself has a unique aerodynamic shape that includes a leading edge placed extremely far forward to help keep turbulent air attached to the very flat sides of the fairing as it flows over it. Through wind tunnel testing HD found that bigger can sometimes be better from an aerodynamic perspective. This is proven in the case of the XR750 fairing since the large windscreen area actually helps enclose the rider completely and controls turbulent air. Price
