Back in 91' Airtech was instrumental in getting the AMA to allow different styled bodywork to be used in the Superbike classes. Due in part to our petitions to the AMA Airtech was able to design new bodywork for several different factory teams.

This particular fairing was the second version of the F1 fairing used by Yoshimura and several other teams throughout the 92' Formula USA season. The fairing has a low-slung, raked nose and two large radiator vents on the side of the fairing.
The front radiator shroud was extended back towards the radiator itself to help avoid high pressure bleed off and improve cooling.
All the duct works were filled in to smooth air flow around the belly pan.

A lightweight fiberglass sprint fuel tank is available for this puppy. We also made a slimmer, sleeker race seat with an anti-drag shield to control turbulent air around the rear tire.

This stuff is perfect if you are restoring a 92 Yoshimura F1 or building your own replica version. We campaigned for this bodywork. It works.
