How many ways are
there to skin a Suzuki, young Grasshopper? Let us count the
ways using a '91-'92 GSXR 750 as our guinea pig.
We could use the
straight competition upper fairing on the race track or cut
the headlight area out for street use. My son, we could even
replace the stock headlights and turn signals with lightweight
halogen projector beam lights and slick turn signal pods.
Ofcourse we cannot
forget the left and right center sections or the one piece belly
pan that attaches underneath them. Or perhaps the fast-folk
of the racetrack might want to use Airtech's special whole side
panels, which can detach quickly either right side or left.
Who needs a separate belly pan anyway?
There are a plethora
of tail sections to choose from. There's a stock-appearing one
piece tail section, a Yoshimura replica seat, a Yoshimura F1
seat, and a Yosh water-cooled model style seat.
We might want to
use the inverted fork front fender or rear swing arm fender.
Advanced skinners might want to take advantage of the pressurized
air box or the lightweight sprint fuel tank.
So you see Grasshopper,
Airtech is the One True Way for GSXR's everywhere. When you
can snatch the carbon fiber key from my hand, you will be ready
to ride the master's Suzuki. Until then, buy your own Airtech
bodywork, buddy..

Suzuki GSXR 750 Yoshimura air ducts
Another rare item form the Yosh collection... See the teardrop
shaped air intake ducts next to the winscreen? That's what these
are. They hook up to the custom, aluminum Yoshimura tank that
you see in the picture, with smoothbore hose. You cut holes in
the windscreen and screw these ducts on with windscreen screws.
These do not work
with a stock tank or even our Yosh Sprint tank below. You will
have to have a custom aluminum tank fabricated with ducts going
through it.
