General Policies

General policy Statement . AirTech is a manufacturer which sells parts to distributors, motorcycle dealers and consumer direct. Although the individual fairings and parts in this catalog are referenced by the names of the original manufacturers, there is no business association between any of the companies and AirTech.

Ordering. Order by telephone, email or fax on your order form / letterhead. New dealers must request and fill out a dealer application prior to ordering. California dealers please include a copy of your California resale sales tax number with your application.

Cancelled orders. All orders cancelled prior to production will be credited back less a 10% administration fee. Orders can not be cancelled after production has begun. Dealer orders will be credited as store credit only.

Shipping. Unless prior arrangements are made, we will ship UPS Ground. Lead time can vary with the season, but most orders are shipped within 3 weeks after date of purchase. Our sales reps will let you know the current lead time at the time of purchase, please ask if you have any questions.

Prepaid Orders. We do NOT ship COD. If you want to prepay your order, please call ahead so we can quote you for parts and shipping. Money order or cashier check only.

APO Orders. We cannot ship to an APO address using UPS but can ship many parts via postal service (USPS). Certain restrictions apply.

Price Changes. Because of fluctuating foreign and domestic economies, prices are subject to change without prior notice.

Backorders. Parts are made to order and will usually ship within 3 weeks from the date of purchase. Orders for hard parts not in stock at the time of your order will be held for 30 days, unless otherwise requested in writing.

Claims. Title to merchandise passes to purchaser on delivery by common carrier (UPS). All fairings are inspected and carefully packed in good condition when delivered to the carrier. Delivery of the merchandise in good condition is the responsibility of the carrier and claims for damage or theft must be made immediately with the carrier.

Installation / Fitment. All parts sold are unfinished, unpainted and not drilled for mounting holes. Some parts may or may not have internal tab work to mount as OEM. Therefore the responsibility of the installation is to the purchaser. If assistance is necessary we will be happy to refer you to a shop that can help you with the installation.

Returns. See below.

Trademark/Patents. AirTech logos, trademarks and product designs are protected by foreign and US patent laws. The duplication of any such AirTech designs or copyrights without written permission will result in prosecution.

Photography. Cannot be copied without express written permission from AirTech.

Warranty. AirTech cannot anticipate all conditions under which our products may be used. We will not be responsible for incidental or consequential damages arising from or in connection with the use of any products sold by AirTech. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, we sell our products without warranty. The buyers and users of products sold by Air Tech assume all responsibility and liability for loss or damage from the handling and use of our products. Whether used alone or in combination with other products. All merchandise distributed by AirTech is guaranteed in accordance with the original manufacturers own terms of warranty. This warranty is in lieu of any expressed or implied warranties including warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

Air Tech Return Policy

Air-Tech takes pride in our reputation for products of high quality and reliability. If you are experiencing a problem with one of our body panels, or our other products, please read the following carefully before calling your sales representative.
This return policy pertains ONLY to the direct purchaser of the AirTech products

1. It is the responsibility of the consignee to inspect the shipping box(es) immediately upon receipt. If there is obvious damage to a box, contact one of our Sales Representatives for further instructions right away. Claims for damages or shipping shortage must be made within 2 days from receipt. Keep any damaged goods in their original packaging and keep the original shipping box and packing materials in which the damaged goods were received.

2. If for any reason you are not satisfied with the quality of the merchandise received, please call us immediately. If a return is appropriate, we will issue a return authorization number (RA#). This number must be printed on the outside of the shipping carton. Returns are limited to 30 days repair or replacement at manufacturers discretion.
Items returned without a return Authorization number or sent C.O.D. will be refused. Return authorization numbers are valid for 30 days from day of issue ONLY!

3. If you are having trouble installing the bodywork, please speak with a Tech representative so we can offer advice and assistance in solving the problem over the phone. If the problem cannot be resolved at that time and a return is appropriate, we will issue you a Return Authorization Number (RA#) to have the item returned for our evaluation and consideration for exchange.
Items returned without a return Authorization number or sent C.O.D. will be refused. Return authorization numbers are valid for 30 days from day of issue ONLY!

5. Any return shipments must be made by Ground Service in original packaging, unless specified otherwise by your Sales Representative.

6. If a return shipping credit is deemed appropriate upon receipt and evaluation of the returned merchandise by AirTech, the credit will under no circumstance exceed the shipping amount charged by us on the original invoice.

7. All returns are subject to inspection by Air-Tech for any claimed damage or defect. Any credit allowed will be given at the sole discretion of Air-Tech. Return of bodywork for any reason (other than exchange or repair of merchandise with manufacturer defects) is subject to a 20% restocking fee.

8. All returned merchandise must be in new or re-sellable condition to be considered for a return. Aditionally, no writing of any kind is allowed on the bodywork.

9. There are absolutely no returns on electrical equipment: headlights, taillights, brake lights, etc.

10. No freight or restocking fee will be charged on returned goods that were not as ordered or found to have a manufacturers defect.

11. No returns or shipping refunds on orders outside the USA.

12. AirTech manufactures after market body parts for motorcycles. Our parts come undrilled, unfinished and may or may not have mounting tabs, as stated throughout our online catalog. These characteristics are not considered 'manufacturer defect' and can not be reason for return of merchandise.
