The Honda NT 650 was one of the first modern naked bikes and was pretty ahead of it's time when it came out in 1988. A lot of people couldn't quite figure it out... not enough power or wind protection for a sportbike, but what's with the aluminum twin spar frame and the single sided swing arm? Now somewhat of as cult classic, the NT 650 is a more popular bike than ever. Airtech's always been a believer an we've been making fairings for the Hawk since day one.

Shown on the left is our RC30-based custom fairing assembly that we developed for Kevin Erion to race in the AMA Lightweight Twins Championship.

Regular RC30 fairings can also be made to fit, and we've listed them below.

Finally, people have been putting the '91 RVF 750 fairings on their Honda NT650 Hawk. Pictured on the left in the yellow are our RVF 750 fairings in combination with the NT650 race tail. The aerodynamic advantage over the stock parts is definite. Plus, it just plain old looks cool.

Whichever way your going, our fairing bracket kit (NT6504) will get you started mounting the fairing assembly of your choice onto your bike.

Honda NT650 Hawk Competition upper fairing
This is completely custom stuff for the Honda NT650 Hawk. Kevin Erion approached Airtech when Two Brothers Racing was planning to race the Hawk in the AMA's lightweight twins class. We modified an RC30 race fairing to fit the NT650 Hawk.
The upper has the headlight holes filled in, though they can still be cut out to accept a headlight, and the windscreen area has been raised an inch.

We've molded the stock seat sides and seat assembly into one piece with little tabs added to create an area for a competition number. You could trim these off if you don't want them...

This is a cool race tail that has the seat pan area filled in for use with closed cell racing foam, available through us.

Honda NT650 Hawk fairing bracket kit
This kit is designed to mount a fairing assembly onto your NT650. The main fairing stay mounts onto the gas tank mount (a threaded bung behind the steering head). The longer tab will mount onto the flat spot on your stearing head and stick straight forward, you will have to dril and tap two 6mm inserts there or weld it on. The two little pieces go onto the lower rails and will attach the bottom of the fairing.

This upper will work on your NT650, you will just need to find yourself some RC30 lights.

We've filled in the headlight area on this RC30 upper for race or custom street applications.

Honda RC30 lower fairing - belly pan
You can make this belly pan work on the NT650 as well, but it will take quite a bit of trimming because the ducts hit the motor and exhaust.

If you don't want to do this extra work go with the NT650 lower, it will bolt right on to the RC30 upper.
